First, we learn to trust Principles of relaxation, straightness, smoothness, softness and mindfulness through direct experience in in our practice and in our daily life. Then we begin practicing with partners to discover that we can also rely on Principle when in interaction with others.
This class is open to those who have learned the Beginning Form well enough to practice outside class and have developed some confidence in the Principles. The first hour of class focuses on refining the movements of the solo form and cultivating Principle throughout our solo form, and the last half-hour is an optional introduction to partner practice.
